Create Capacity for Each Day
It’s about releasing the old and making room for the new.
Matthew 6:34 - “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Many of us don’t understand the term “capacity” as it relates to how much we are able to handle in life. We often use the term in relation to objects outside of ourselves.
Without confronting the load within us, we cannot begin to decrease the outdated areas in order to replenish the new.
Confronting our capacity can feel overwhelming because we realize that our reality sits on the other side of our vulnerability. We want to feel light and unstoppable. We want to be proud of who we are beneath the layers of life that have somehow anchored themselves to our existence. We want to discover if there’s more to who we know ourselves to be after looking in the mirror.
For many, the need to focus on today, tomorrow and the future may feel like a necessity for achieving success, but in our quest to exaggerate future endeavors, we diminish faith and decrease room for magic.
